B-Series Thunderbolt.

I have a couple of questions relating to the B-Series;
What is the purpose of the wire leading from the rotator to the chopper unit?
And because it's a B-Series would the A in the type of blower be replaced with a B?

The exposed cable is due to the fact that the B Series Thunderbolt uses a sealed motor, and as far as I know, I don't think there was a change in the blower size/type

Keep in mind, A-series is 3 phase, and B-series is single phase

B series as in series, not phase. We know that A= 3 phase and B= single phase.

That line coming out the back of the chopper tube is the connector to the chopper motor. Instead of having the collector rings in the tube, they put them in the rotator box, hence why it exists in the first place.
The B-series was always available in single or 3 phase, Alburnett is getting them confused. As for the chopper motor, they are all single phase regardless if the model is 3 phase or not.
The model numbers for the B-series are as follows:
1000:
1000ASB - 3 phase(A), Series B(SB)
1000BSB - Single phase(B), Series B(SB)
1000T:
1000ATSB - 3 phase(A), Series B(SB)
1000BTSB - Single phase(B), Series B(SB)
1003:
1003ASB - 3 Phase(A), Series B(SB)
1003BSB - single phase(B), Series B(SB)
