Identify this 1003 Please!

Sat Sep 09, 2017 2:24 am

So, this is a photo from my childhood I recently found on my computer. I got it from google images in like 2007. And never saw it again. DOES ANYONE KNOW where this siren was located? Or any replacement updates? Even looks like a possible system 7000 or plain roof mount but I would still like to know a location! Thanks!

A 7000 is a Thunderbolt 1000, 1000T, or 1003 with a backup generator built into a small room which also houses the blower and controls.

That's definitely it I think. The curved conduit and the overall appearance of the surroundings match up to the OP's image. The segment of roof visible in the picture also seems to be a match to the FD in the video.

It is, they repainted it years ago.
