San Onofre used to have a few Sentry 10V sirens in the old system?

Wed Nov 29, 2017 5:58 am

As you all know ,I now own one of the custom built sirens that were down there in the past called a Model 120 not "Toshiba". It was built as an extra siren by the designer himself but it was never installed and he didn't make horns or install motors on it since it wasn't installed ,so it sat in his garage since 1982. Anyway this thread is about the blue prints he gave me about the different siren site installations ,It shows site OC04 ,OC05 ,OC06 ,and SP02 which are sites I've never heard of since I'm familiar with SJ ,DP ,and SC sites ,it shows a few OC and SP sites appeared to have had a Sentry 10V ,but I'm sure now they have been long replaced by the Whelens. But if anyone knows about these sites and if there were Sentry 10Vs there before let me know. And I know the system was not only Model 120s but there were also STL-10s.

These could be STL-10s but they look way more like 10Vs.

The mounting bracket under the siren head seems like a dead giveaway that these were 10V's.
