Siren found in Port Huron, Michigan

Wed Jun 06, 2018 1:18 pm

This morning I was doing some work on my Statewide map when I decided to try to find Port Huron's 5 sirens. I started out at a fire station - and almost sprayed my Cereal all across the kitchen (yes, I was eating Frosted Flakes as I worked, sue me.

IT'S A EOWS*612!

Now i'm trying to find others. If anyone has any other locations, PLEASE let me know. I'd be super happy.

What's so special about a 612 that it necessitated it's own topic?

To find an active one in Michigan that was installed in 2000 is kind of a large thing.

I agree with phone goat but they aren't that uncommon so why make a entire topic about one?
I'm Jacob Ulrich or MidMissouriSirens on youtube.

EOWS 612s aren't too rare. There are a few cities with systems of 612s still.

For example:
Bemidji, MN
Mount Vernon, IL
Washington Court House, OH
Siren and railroad enthusiast

Residing in Silver Lake, Indiana, home of two FS 2001-130s and a mystery siren.

Michigan only has a few active examples, and this topic is also asking about PH's system.

Fair enough but remember that your topics should not be making a mountain out of a molehill. You tend to create several posts on extremely minor topic. Perhaps you can work on minimizing the number of posts you make while also not sensationalizing things that aren't worth sensationalizing.
