2 D’s, 1 Week

Sun Dec 23, 2018 2:35 pm

Hello all, and Merry Christmas!
Haven’t made an actual post here in a while, so I decided to give you all an update.
For those that do not know, I got a 1958 Model D about 2 years ago that had a deformed stator so it could not turn easily. After trying to pull the rotor out for a while, and little success, it sat...until Monday night when I tried to refit the intake horn on to see if it would negate the problem. Needless to say, it worked! She sounds very healthy for a D:

Later on in the week, I received the second surprise, my new 1930’s Type D. While the exterior is ver lacking, she runs like a champ...I always seem to forget how much these older ones seem to scream!

I hope you enjoy!
