Federal Electric type A?

I was wondering if there was such thing as a federal Electric type A. I heard somewhere on the board about a type A.

It's just an older Model A. Federal used to call most of their sirens Type this and Type that, but switched to "Model" later on. The two terms can be used interchangeably though, 'cause they mean the exact same thing. I have a Model A that dates back to 1940 when they were still called Federal Electric, so it says Type A on the tag.
