Since I am now on spring break, I was wondering if there is a scanner frequency to receive tones for the Tornado Sirens at Middle Tennessee State University, because I am recording one of there Whelens. Also, how loud are whelens compared to a 12 port siren (like a 2001 siren, because that's all I have ever heard up close.)

The sirens use a trunked digital project 25 phase 2 radio system. You need a $300 scanner to listen to siren activation. It really isn't worth the money TBH
