Federal Electric Model 3 Noon Blast, Flanagan Illinois 5-4-2019

With a possible rain out expected for my first Tuesday test, I went for a drive to a place that’s very dear to us Illinois siren enthusiasts and it was also the perfect excuse to get PORTILLOS!!! (Which I highly recommend). For those who don’t know, Flanagan has 3 sirens that are remotely activated every day at noon with the new software. The old way was via phone line and a single timer (Which was hit or miss with the sirens). The Model 3 here was taken down and refurbished and runs much better than it did, It was originally installed in 1949.
