Can anyone explain the difference between the SC and FC on a Federal 2001?

On an instagram post of a 2001-DC in Cookeville, TN, somebody pointed out that it had an "SC" controller. Can anyone give me a full explanation on the differences between the SC and FC controllers? I do know that all of the 2001-DC's in Cookeville have SC controllers, since they are all set up nearly identical.

SC = Standard controller
FC = Full controller

Full controller has a LCD display, will communicate back to indicate siren status and I believe it will respond to more command structures than the standard. The Full controller I have will do DTMF, Group Paging tone (fire tones) POCSAG, SAME codes (weather codes from NOAA) and AFSK.
I believe the standard only does DTMF and Group tone

The manual for the FC controller is on the fed sig web site in the support pages.

That’s not it. The SC predated the FC (Federal Controller). The FC is currently the only controller Federal makes for electromechanical sirens and is available in a one or two way variant and in a DC one and two way variant. The Wiki has more information on both.
