The old guy in the first video actually came up to me and asked what I was doing. First time that has ever happened to me.

there was an old 1000 that i used to live by. It also had a broken rotator at one point in time, however now it is fixed and still used about 40 years later.

Yeah I took that video. I have 2 videos of this siren. One that is low quality and now this one.

they switched off the rotator. it would at least wiggle, the rotator isnt complex, its just a gear and a motor.

I just got word that this particular siren may be replaced with a Whelen 4004.

No it has belts. Don't be so ignorant.
The belt could have broken...
