I went out to Colonial Heights in central Virginia today, and got a chance to film their monthly siren test. The siren here is located at Flora Hill Park in Colonial Heights, and they test every first Saturday of the month at noon.
These sirens are used as storm sirens - they sound for tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, and probably other things related to the criteria.
There are 3 sirens located in the system, but I personally believe they should've added a bit more than just that.
