Nope. It is active and sounds every day at 6. There is another 10V2T (mounted NORMALLY, thank God) located on the grounds of the Frank A. Berry school.

I saw this video a while ago and was impressed by how low it was. I'm pretty sure it's a decot or some sort of federal siren.

Sirens DO project farther when higher correct?
