I don't know, it's the tallest out of all the 612's I've seen.

I've got to wonder how bad the wind load was on the EOWS. that thing is basically a huge plank stuck up in the air.

Now that I think about it, the sirens in Bluff Park, AL (unincorporated community within Hoover in Jefferson Co.) are on one of the tallest mountains in AL, so I guess those count?

I think we should refer to pole-mounted/roof-mounted.

It might be a tall 612, but pole wise it's pretty much average.

On top of that it looks like it's on a class III pole, hence the gangsta lean.

Does that Chrysler still exist?
And also, the last time I checked, I believe that Chrysler is still standing. But I think it's too old for operation...
I hate to bring up ancient posts, but I actually went to the building where this is, talked to managers and got permission from the owners of the building (they're actually based in California, and the building is a self storage facility now). The tower that the siren is on is rickety as all get out. I'm actually really surprised it's still standing. The siren itself is in pretty rough shape, probably about 80-90% complete, but seems that everything is seized. Didn't check the rotors though. I may still have pictures of everything. I checked with a few companies about crane rental. With that building, the largest crane of the company I checked with wouldn't reach it. Their crane is hauled in on 3 semi trailers and takes 3 days to set up and tear down IIRC. Basically you'd have to have a 10k forklift going up in the freight elevator (which likely wouldn't fit anyway) to take it down, or you'd need a helicopter. Although the managers on site said the owners have had offers to buy and refused every time.
