Partial Siren test in Skokie IL.

Wed Oct 03, 2007 11:36 pm

On my road trip Tuesday, I totally forgot about Illinois test day. By the time I got my camera, the siren stopped. Then I got the camera, and it started again. The Siren is a ACA hurricane( I think). And For some reason it wouldn't fully rotate. It would turn a bit then stop then stop. Then start up again and trun a bit more. The siren did do ALERT and ATTACK. But I only got video of the one tone and wine down. The Siren located on Fargo Ave. off of Niles Center Dr. behind the Fire Dept. There was a fire fighter there watching it. He said he would report it.

Here's the video. A little shaky at times. ANd you can see the siren thru the trees, Sorry in advance.

Hey, great video!

The siren is a T-128.

I knew it would be a T-128, but that one certainly sounds a lot better than the newer ones with the higher pitch.
