Hello everyone

I've seen in some pictures old/abandonned sirens combined with air horns, like not the Gamewell Diaphones but real truck air horn or something like that, what was the point of them?

I don't find any threads specialized for this type of setup so, I made one ! Do someone here have also pictures of this type of horn+siren setup? Thanks!

The second one is clearly abandonned

Here's the Southington sentry with horns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5753to-HeIE
according to the description they're sounded for meetings Mondays at six. the description says they're diaphones but I'm 90 percent sure they're just air horns since its in Ohio.

Center Moriches Fire Department has a Sireno Type 3 and Cunningham horns. I think the Cunnninghams are used for medicals. I know the type 3 is a fire siren. Both do noon blasts.

It almost looks like it would be a Darley rebrad of a Fedelcode 2

Look like a GSC siren right? Maybe a prototype... I just realized that I've never seen this siren !
