As much as I don't like the ATI sirens , that one actually sounded like a Federal Model 2, and was a clear penetrating sound.

If i remember right, doesn't St.Louis's Whelens have malfunctions once in a while?

Strange how all of these newer electronic systems, particularly ATI, fail within a very short time, while mechanical sirens built 50-80 years ago still operate every day.
