I've returned to this thread with more cool news:

Yep, a TV broadcast of TOKIWA's 1st generation music siren has been recorded and you can see the siren, dampers, etc up close in action!, Incase this video gets removed because of whatever reason, I have decided to download this video to archive it. The same exact person who uploaded this video also uploaded another close up video of the siren but its sounding off for 12 PM, I have also downloaded this video as well, Check them out!

The TV broadcast was actually taken off Facebook, I've seen it many times before, nothing new.

What is new,
Someone found Uwajima's 1st generation music siren!
Image
It seems to be installed atop the current music siren's platform. The length of the platform suggests no more than a 12 note music siren. All that's left to do now is find out the key it played in.

Ah alright, Still pretty cool to see for the people who haven't seen it yet, if there's any.

Found this:

That is actually a screen-recording of this video with a picture of the exact siren sounding slapped on to that video.

At least he/she gave credit to the original owner.

It's a good thing you archived them, because it did indeed get removed because the uploader got terminated for whatever reason

I have returned to this thread with rather interesting news. Two music sirens sounded at once in the same city, sometimes in sync, and one of them still runs to this day. The bizarre installs were in Oita city, atop TOKIWA and the city hall. At this time, no one knows when the city hall siren was installed or removed, or even when it played.

Just yesterday, there was a brand new video of the Kishiwada music siren playing in 2015. This might've been J-Alert, as the speakers were mounted there in 2015, but I've never seen one that played the wind-down as well.

I think that that was the music siren, if you listen closely there is a wind-down at the end.

It's good to see another higher-quality video of this siren. Here's an older video of it from 2010:

About yawatahamas siren:

This was released 3 weeks ago.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbrX1c0kSzg

The one broken note can clearly be seen in the video. The way it's broken is interesting: we can see that it does open, but it seems like maybe the "gate" has been unaligned..? Or it moves too much and too fast, therefore missing the "open" -state. We can see that the box above the siren shakes visibly more than the others, so maybe that confirms the fault in the air pistons etc.

Here's the translation of the video description:

Yawatahama Music Siren Noon "Mikan no Hanasaku Oka"

As of mid-August 2022, the sound of E♭ (1244Hz) had become difficult to hear. At the time of the interview in late September, I posted a temporary video as a recent report because it was aging, such as an abnormal sound when blowing and the compressor not stopping.
(Due to an editing error, the operating sound of the first "Gon" was cut off)
filmed: late September 2022

Sorry for my bad english!
