Please tell me this sucker
isn't rare...

I swear if eBay snipers were involved in this auction, I will formulate a squad of elite ex-SAS operators and take them out one by one by one...
Oh well. It was nice to know that these exist. Looked and sounded rare as well. The word Gents caught my eye browsing eBay one day and I decided to grab it. Don't suppose anyone else knows anything about it?

I do not think we are allowed to post other peoples eBay items but other than that it is a rare unit.

Only if the auction was still live. It's not. Stops non-genuine bidders from artificially raising the price, because they think that they
might want the item. I know better than to break rules.

That siren almost sounds like a Sterling M, as heard here:

So, did you get it?

Unfortunately no.
I put a bid in right at the last second and noticed that another two bids magically appeared with one second to go. Oh well. Lesson learned. Highest bid always wins.
I was having a great discussion with the seller though and he said that he'd keep on the look out for another one.
I won't let it get away.
Don't 'spose you know anything about it, Gent's?

Ok I was just a little worried.

I've got one of those Gent sirens which needs some work. It needs new plastic-covered brush holders and a coat of paint, but otherwise I think it's okay. Not pretty though.
Free if you pay the shipping. I'm in England. E-mail me at
[email protected] if you're interested.
Best wishes,
Chris

Actually, I just looked in the shed and I think I must have given the Gent siren away. Sorry.
