Actaully, that's an Allertor and not a Thunderbolt. A while back someone on here posted pictures they took of an Allertor in Niles which is in Barrien County.

Sounds like the Allertor is a little under-powered.

I have pictures from Barien County that i took in 2005. Whelen 2700s were dominant.

Here they are. These pics were taken in August '05 i think. It took me over an hour to find them! Well, it..
only one i have. its in rural Barien County.

actually those are 28/2900 series...the 2700 series has almost no windup, and is higher pitched

That's a 2805. On any of the 2700 series sirens and now on the 2900 series sirens, from that angle, you wouldn't be able to see the screens.

Someone else told me (perhaps Dan Drega) that the siren pictured is of the 2700 family.
