The Siren Board

i found this weird siren-thing in hungary, its on a town hall right next, there is another air raid siren. its kinda look like an san francisco ati horn electric siren.

somewhy when i try to send the picture, it says http error

It might be a P/A System or something that plays music. Just because it looks like a siren doesn't mean it is, those horns are extremely common outside of Community Alerting.

File is too large. Put a link into the picture as a reply either direct to where it is on the web or to an external photo service you uploaded it to.

If it looks like ATI horns it could well be a warning system. A Taiwanese manufacturer makes them and sells them worldwide.

It looks like a generic electronic siren/PA system. I suggest looking into Hungarian siren companies or European companies to see what they have.

Definitely a speaker siren. NO P/A system would have an antenna, simply because it would be useless. Too big to be a P/A. Most likely a siren.

Actually this is part of the Heves County siren system, they announce emergencies and tests on these (when they test the motor-powered sirens).
