Recently, I took a road trip up Fort Smith to see some of my cousins for the holiday. While I was in Atkins, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of one of their recently refurbished Thunderbolt 1000 sirens. It's quite interesting to see a town sticking to its old civil defense era sirens. :)

I am so happy to see these sirens get refurbished and look brand new. Never in a million years would I have thought they would see the light of day.

Table Rock Altering Systems might have refurbished it. They refurbish sirens for a lot cheaper than buying new sirens

That would be correct. As far as I know, Table Rock refurbished and reinstalled every Thunderbolt in Atkins.

Table Rock did refurbish it. If I recall correctly, their logo was on the blower or control boxes.

I believe they installed a Sentry 14V-3 in Hector. I'm glad to see sirens of my own state get attention.
