An Unknown Mystery Siren

Mon Jan 03, 2022 12:54 pm

I recently came across a photo of a mysterious abandoned siren that I have never seen before. It was apparently decommissioned, and there appears to be no footage of it or anything else like it.

It looks like the photo was taken a long time ago, so I don’t know if this siren is still wherever it is.

Here is the photo: https://airraidsirens.fandom.com/wiki/M ... fy=created

There is one more of these apparently, said to be a black one, but there are no images of such.

It is in America however, that is one clue I found.

Anyway, this seems like a hoax. For instance, there are a lot of fanmade sirens on my FANDOM wiki, and I would not be surprised if this was a mock-up. I need help finding out if this is legit or just some quick 5 minute terribly made tomfoolery to stir up a conversation?

Looks to me like someone took a picture of one of these lego wheels: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/ca ... eel%5D#T=C connected to a black rod. likewise the black one is likely the black variant of this wheel. 100% a hoax.

I KNEW IT! I went on a discussion with the owner of the picture and he said it wasn’t fake. I tried convincing him to say it was a hoax but he would not give in…

Well now I know the mystery behind it, and should I close this down now? It’s a useless topic since we busted it…
