Mystery World War Two Air Raid Siren, Bedfordshire, England

Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:56 pm

So I found this siren on a search for mystery sirens, and I came across this image. It looks like an old Scuba diver helmet attached to a wind directional thingy,, but on closer inspection it had horns. Image It looks like a very derpy siren. Can anyone see if they can figure out a model number or a company name?

I don't think that's a siren.

even though the image is broken, i still know what the photo you're talking about is. its from a stock photo site and its not a siren. idk what idiot put that under the tag "tornado siren".

Wasn't it just a fancy wind vane? I think I remember this.

Glad I'm not the only one having a deja vu moment. There was definitely another thread about this.

There was another thread like this, and it was also authored by NotVoyager. https://www.airraidsirens.net/forums/vi ... hp?t=28150

We already concluded that this isn’t a siren.
