Seeking Siren Info

Thu Feb 24, 2022 3:34 am

Evening everyone, Im looking for some information on the following sirens for my spreadsheet of information pinned at the top of the board. I was able to get everything on that spreadsheet but im struggling with the last bit left. Im aware some might not ever get filled in but I figured its worth a shot. If anyone has knowledge, catalogs, ads, etc with info about the stuff below Id appreciate it!

Federal Model B port ratio and dB@100'
Fedelcode 5QC, 10, and 20/T Port Ratio and dB@100'
ASC OM-107 Port Ratio
Sentry 5V Port Ratios
Sterling M-3 and M-5 dB@100'
Sterling Little Giant dB@100'
Anything on RedArrow, models, Horse power, dB@100', Port Ratios, etc.
SoundMaster 115/125 Horse Power, dB@100', and Port Ratios

Thanks, Alex

It's Type B, not model.
As far anybody has found, there were no official sound pressure ratings given, which isn't surprising considering the model was introduced back in the 1920s.
Previous discussion estimates that it was likely in the 107ish dB range: https://www.airraidsirens.net/forums/vi ... hp?t=13494
Keep in mind that there are single and dual head models, with a couple variants in shroud and horns.

For port ratio, they're all 15-port single tone.
