Post your leaning siren finds

Thu Apr 14, 2022 9:00 pm

I decided to start this topic since I'm just curious as to how many leaning sirens people have found or how many there are. I'm also interested in seeing how bad some of the sirens people send here really lean. To begin, here is an example of what this topic is about and meant for: https://www.airraidsirens.net/forums/vi ... ning+siren

If you want an example taken from Google Maps, then here is this: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.1838643 ... 384!8i8192
The funny thing about this STH-10 is if it falls, then it does so into the river!

Just remember, make sure to send sirens that have a clearly visible lean. Anything that barely leans at all or isn't very noticeable doesn't count.

Here is a Whelen WPS-2910 I live relatively near to in Victoria, Minnesota. It is not too bad but it’s noticeable

Very random find, and I thought it was worthy of a mention here.

I have no words.

I still post here, but not as much as I used to.

Bump but there used to be an EOWS-612 in Hidden Valley, IN that was leaning a bit. The angle the picture was taken from didn’t show the whole lean, but it was leaning.
In Glencoe, KY there is a Sentry 20V1T where the head is leaning pretty bad too (the one in my profile picture as of now).

Pretty much nothing can beat listening to Danny Harmon's railfanning videos while hunting for railroad signals in the middle of nowhere Ohio.

Well... That ain't good. Streetview only goes to 2013 right by the siren, but it appears to not have gotten any better, Possibly slightly worse.

Hello, fellow siren enthusiasts. I am losing interest, but will be back on the board from time to time.

I have a thing for objects that light up or make noise.

Apparently back in 2015, the mod at Tates Creek Aquatic Center was leaning quite a bit.

If you look at the current streetview, it has been corrected.
