SD-10 in Denver, CO

Sun May 15, 2022 8:11 pm

Does anyone know if this SD-10 by Swansea Elementary School in Denver is active? I would like to attempt to record it next month if it is.

I don't own any sirens, but I am building one made of wood with my dad
We plan on making it an 8/10 port
I am also working on a siren map of where I live

If you're reading this, have a good day!

Doesnt appear to be connected to power, plus anything remaining from Denvers old system has been decommissioned. The 2001 right by it would be a good bet to record though.

If you are intent on recording a SD-10 while you're in the Denver area, the closest active one that I know of is in Hygeine at the Fire Department. If you can drive, Wiggins, Limon, and Arriba have SD-10's as well. Arriba does do noon blasts.
