https://youtu.be/2gDTFJ4Eo20; Thought I’d try making a youtube channel! This synth turned out a lot nicer than I thought. Plus, it sounds pretty real except for the attack timing, which I need to improve, and the windup and wind down I guess. But still, I hope you enjoy!

I'm curious as to what base waveform you started off with. Because the wind-up doesn't sound very much like a sawtooth wave, which is what I use when making mechanical siren synths.
The tonal characteristics are pretty close, but the timing sounds more like an analog Whelen controller in attack mode. I personally would take advantage of whatever method you used to get the attack timing and make an analog Whelen synth, but I digress.

You know, that's actually pretty good! This is the type of Whelen controller I was referencing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBBGkSFRkhE The lowest pitch on the attack signal isn't quite as low as your synth, but it's still decently accurate.
