Hey everyone, my name is Adam and I am new to the board, I live in Birmingham, Al (which is chocked full of Federal sirens).
This video that I am posting I know has been on here a while ago but it is such a good video, because the two best sirens out there today, The T-bolt and T-128 are in it. Good to see them working together, especially in a real tornado. Enjoy(again).

Ohh those sirens are music to my ears. However as power went out [as seen with the gas station lights] the Thunderbolt didn't start up again and it sounded as if the T-128 was the only siren sounded. Which to me was quite the ear piercing sound. What made that video better was an actual tornado as they sounded. Thanks for posting it, and welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the board. Your first video contribution was a very good one. Do you get many tornadoes in that part of Alabama?

Incredible video! The sirens sound great and the tornado looks really scary as it passes over the horizon. I love the people at the gas station out gawking

Thanks! Ya in Birmingham which is Jefferson county we get some wicked ones here. If you remember the big F5 that hit here in April 1998, it killed like 46 people. People here, up until that point people here thought that this area was immune from Tornadoes b/c it is very hilly here, but that myth was busted that day. There is some interesting videos of that tornado on youtube, i will post on here later.

Here is a video about the April 8 1998 F5 Tornado that hit Birmingham(Jefferson county). This particular tornado, up until that time was the largest on record, and you can hear Bill Clinton and AL Gore speaking about it. Enjoy
