Thanks Non-Zero for the info. That's pretty much how i've drawn out the power circuit and with 120v control. I do have a 200 amp service box in my shop so that is no prob adding a breaker and rated outlet. The timer seems doable too. My biggest question is slamming 220v without a soft starter. The inrush current would seem crazy especially when they run constant 50+ amps in service. It's def a heavy duty motor in these units. Did they not worry about that in the "old days" with these sirens?
