Greenville I-30 Hurricane is gone.

Mon Jun 12, 2023 4:31 pm

It happened after 19 years, Apparently it got removed because of the car dealership demolition.

I actually tried to squeeze out some information on it, and went so far as to call the Demolition company that destroyed the dealership. I was told that someone would contact the supervisor for that job but I never got anything back.

Me and my friend suspect it was actually taken by the company who did the demo, which isn't good news. It's been gone for about 2 months now, so not much can really be done.

Shame really. These things are remarkably great sirens. Hurts me to see one go.

A British siren enthusiast. Previously lived at the furthest point from any sirens before co-discovering one very close to where he is located. Also features a great discomfort referring to themselves in third-person.

I sincerely hope they don't do anything irresponsible with that siren... I of course don't expect them to know how terribly rare it is but it is terrible that y'all can't get a hold of them. I really hope this sirens falls into good hands eventually.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.
