This gem of a DSA is located at Coral Creek Golf Course, in 'Ewa Beach on the Island of O'ahu. It still has the original MC controls, programmed for 850/1020hz dual tone. The Coral Creek Golf Course area is within the Campbell Industrial Park hazmat zone, therefore this siren is programmed with dual tone whoop! Hawai'i uses whoop for hazmat emergencies, such as chemical spills & volcanic activity warnings. In this video, the siren sounds the 1 minute alert tone, followed by 3 minutes of whoop. The siren is supposed to sound only 1 minute of whoop for monthly tests, but this unit is known to be somewhat of a long runner. In the previous years, this siren used to have slightly off dual tone programming, that peaked around 850/995hz. It also activated in alternate wail by mistake during testing back in 2018. This was due to a programming error. All of these programming errors were fixed several years ago.
