By the horn, it's very likely an older Sterling M-10. If you can find any pictures of a side view, It would be easier to tell if it was a Sterling M-10 or Y-10.

Thanks for posting! Based on a conversation with other siren enthusiasts, we've come to believe this is a Sterling Model M due to the size, the intake and sounder shape, and the small inner ring in front of the intake. This was most likely a very old Model M.

Judging by those downward projectors, that looks to be a Federal Model 5 or 7. Which building was this on, out of curiosity?

501 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, WI. Trinity Lutheran School. Actually, It is now the 4th confirmed civil defense siren system in Wausau. This is not Rib Mountain because I found this

Just to let you know, the real model of these is the "Sterling Model M".
