Hi! I was wanting to maybe find out about some of the South Vancouver Island, British Columbia siren test times! (If there are) I know that CFB Esquimalt does a test on the first Wednesday of the month at 11:00 AM, but I know that there are sirens in North Saanich, Port Renfrew, Metchosin, Honeymoon Bay, South Galiano Island, Mesachie Lake, Duncan, Cowichan Bay, Nanaimo and Jordan River. If I could find out when any of those test would be very happy. Thanks! :D

Tofino's system of Modulators tests every Friday of the month at 11AM. Predator Ridge has a siren test schedule on their website, the next test being a growl test of their siren tomorrow at 2PM, they alternate between AC and DC tests every month. They have a T-128 at their fire station. I'm not sure about the testing schedules of other systems, as I can't find any more info.

Ok! Thanks for checking! I had no idea that there is a T-128 in BC, so thank you very much! If anyone else has any more info about the island's systems, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you! Also, if you could give me a link to that website, that would be awesome. :D

The 128 was installed earlier this year, so it's brand spanking new.
Here's the site: https://prcemc.ca/event/wildfire-siren-test/
I also have a Canada-wide siren map, which includes BC. I haven't checked all of BC, so there's probably more that I don't know about, but a lot of sirens are mapped in BC. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit? ... 215291&z=7

Now that we're talking about Vancouver, does anyone know where these sirens might be located and what kind they are? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtG1n8Hw4Ds
I'm guessing they are Alertus.

I don't know the location of these sirens, but my best guess is that they are in the Cooper/Eaton WAVES siren series. Also, do you happen to know when these sirens test?

They’re can’t be. WAVES sirens don’t use European toneset. Alertus is the only one I know for sure has used the Euro toneset, not even the Hörmanns sold on this side of the ocean were sold with Euro controllers
