Obscure Small Sirens Thread

[29 ALF]

I see a number of small sirens come up from time-to-time on eBay that are made by companies who rarely, or never, make sirens of any kind at all. Most recently, the discovery of a siren made by Hamilton Beach made me want to keep a running thread of all known small sirens manufactured out there for us to reference as needed.
My criteria for this list includes:

• The siren must be small enough to be used in the class described in this forum (indoor, other outdoor, or vehicular. No large outdoor sirens).
• The siren must be made and sold by an actual business.
• Said business can't be a common large siren manufacturer, i.e. Federal Signal, Whelen, etc.
• The siren must be a siren.
  • Random speakers aren't sirens because they can play a noise, they have to be made for the purpose of being a siren.
  • Something that looks similar to a siren and even sounds a little like one still isn't one if it wasn't made as one (ex. a fan).

E. A. Labs also sold a SirEAne Sr. and a rebrand of the Federal Electric Type 160-A (you can read about them here: https://wiki.airraidsirens.net/E._A._Laboratories). Additionally, I have reason to believe the "Yugoslavian sirens" are actually products of Tripp Lite; Tripp sold sirens with identical grilles and rotor and stator designs and their successor Tri Lite does as well in the form of the Model VS sirens. One of them has also been found with a Tripp Lite sticker.

Here's mine, a Klaxon 220V siren, unknown model, all I know is that it's a low tone unit, the grille looks identical to a Type 72 siren. Unfortunately mine got bashed up badly in shipping and I need to bend back the stator

There's this thing I own which is apparently a Klaxon Mono SE, I have only ever seen dual-tone versions of them, never this single tone one. Apparently both tones are pretty rare, anyway.

That just looks like mine, but newer, also I love how the Mono SE's rotor looks simple, it almost looks the same as the Klaxon Type 77's rotor but with more ports and vanes.

Also, speaking of Klaxon sirens, I have a somewhat rarer version of the type 80 that is coming up in the mail, it has a different grille compared to most of its kind, but otherwise should be identical.

Good to know, thank you. I was thinking of trying to do a write up on the ones missing from the wiki, but I'm going to check with the wiki team first so I don't spam it.

That's interesting, I wonder what the connection to Yugoslavia is then? Must have been a contract or something like that.
