Tampa, KS Mystery siren

Fri Feb 07, 2025 11:06 pm

Not sure if this is solvable or not, but it looks very similar to the 10V2T and "Tin Can" I posted here a while back. It's a tiny siren with a big custom shroud.

The siren is next to the Whelen, underneath a rounded cover. Streetview isn't clear enough to tell what it is with any sort of certainty, someone would have to get up close pics if the siren is still in place.

It's neither. Whatever siren is under that cover is much too small to be an M or Type Mach. B.

Thanks for the redirect.

For a siren that small (so small I'd missed it) I was thinking Sterling Little Giant.

Looking at it from the front, I think it's a small Federal, like an A, D, etc under some custom roof of sorts. You can see the mounting base of one.
