No that is not a prototype it is a p-50 with the outer part of the horn removed

Not a prototype, this siren was originally grey and had a full horn, part of the horn went missing at some point and when the siren was refurbished in 2011, they didn’t bother to replace the missing section of the horn.AppleFireAlarmPro wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 6:41 pmWhile playing around on Google Maps, I came across what appears to be either an ACA P-50 or ASC T-135 AC, but the projector looks too short compared to P-50s I’ve seen elsewhere. Is this some sort of prototype version? It’s located in Cordova, TN.
It was damaged beyond repair IIRCSpanishFriedEggs wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 8:32 pmNot a prototype, this siren was originally grey and had a full horn, part of the horn went missing at some point and when the siren was refurbished in 2011, they didn’t bother to replace the missing section of the horn.AppleFireAlarmPro wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 6:41 pmWhile playing around on Google Maps, I came across what appears to be either an ACA P-50 or ASC T-135 AC, but the projector looks too short compared to P-50s I’ve seen elsewhere. Here’s a video of the same siren back in 2002:
