Found an early electronic siren installation picture, in Olathe Kansas What is it?

I believe they could be some type of Fyr-Fyter siren judging from the cars if they were installed for Civil Defense purposes.


EDIT: Judging from some known pictures of them, the speaker drivers seem to attach to the horn directly which the ones pictured here do. However, the model here isn't pictured anywhere else as far as I know.

That siren appears to be identical to the one in Edgerton, Kansas, at 38°45'38.2"N 95°01'11.0"W
It is inactive, but there is a post on here discussing about the siren, with close up photos on page 2: viewtopic.php?t=24821
I think it's interesting that how both the siren in the article and the one in Edgerton are located in Kansas, do you know the date of when this article was published?

I think Edgerton's siren originally came from Olathe. One of my friends told me a few more like it exist out in the countryside in the same area. I wish we knew who made these

I wonder if any of these are still in place, just abandoned?
