Eww, look how cheap they look. I seriously couldn't picture myself buying
one.
At more than several thousand dollars each, funnily enough; I can't either.

I just realized something. ATI doesn't even make those speaker heads, some Taiwanese company does. Van_nuke_pe lead me to the company that makes them. ATI wouldn't be the ones to apply any coating to the siren. That's total BS!

Edit: Here are the speakers that ATI, ASC, and Hormann uses. http://kingstar.myweb.hinet.net/High%20 ... eakers.htm

Likewise, a very poor quality website for a very poor quality OEM siren manufacturer.

MyWeb, hahaha!

Anyway, I don't blame the company so much as I blame ATI for choosing them and putting their sound cards in their control system.

Well that explains the really nice tone.

So that's what an ATI siren is. I saw one of them while riding on Interstate 40 through Russelville, Arkansas. Which happens to have Arkansas's only Nuclear Power Plant, called ANO (Arkansas Nuclear One.) It has two reactors.

Anyways, in my opinion, they're a cheap looking siren.

ATI and "Good" only fit in a sentence if you are talking graphics card wise.

Re: ATI sirens really are crap!

I just found an ATI video on YouTube from Nashville, TN, recorded the other day, during the tornado outbreak. I also posted this in the Audio/Video forum, but I thought it would also be relevant to this topic.

As you can hear, the tone is around 1000 HZ, which I think is too high for a warning siren, especially if there's no wind-up or win-down. It sounds like a pager tone...
