There are already a couple of videos on YouTube that feature sirens from today's storms, and there will probably be more. Here's what I've found so far.

Memphis, TN sirens: sounds like a Whelen and a dual tone TBolt.

If anyone else finds any more videos of these storms, please post them here. I also have my own siren recordings from today, and I plan on posting them in the morning.

Please keep your thoughts and prayers with all of the storm victims and their families.

Here are a couple of my own recordings from the storms. These were recorded from my apartment, which is right down the road from the famous Waverly Hills hospital, which they say is haunted. This audio recording features 2001's and Thunderbolts.

Here's a longer recording of these same sirens recorded from my living room window. Sorry for the talking at the beginning.

Enjoy.

The first link there has quite the mix of those two sirens. Sounds rather eerie. Bad day last night it was... I hope there are no more deaths than what has been already said on the news. My prayers go out to those affected. :(

I wish I could have gotten a longer recording from the porch, but my roommate was nagging at me to come in. I agree, the porch recording was definitely the best recording, even though it was short.

That'd be the ACA Allertor 125 on Stadium Blvd. beside the U-Haul facility that's behind the Turtle Creek Mall. :)

Edit: It seems like you can't hear any other siren from that location. Either Jonesboro is still having problems getting all their sirens installed or online, or their coverage in that area is poor. Thank goodness that Allertor is still functional, one of only 5 from the original system still functioning.

Cool! I love the sound of those Alertors!

Here's a video from Yesterday, shot in or near Jackson, TN, featuring a 2001 in Attack.

Here's a great sounding video featuring EAS tones, and a very loud 2001 in Alert, with several others in the background. At least one of the other 2001's is in Attack. I believe this video is from Clark County, IN, just across the river from Louisville. I know that Clark County IN has a system of mostly 2001's.
