My first video is on the net!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pFqyMtJ5Tj0 I have no clue what the police car was doing in the first moments of the video...I actually thought it was a ambulance untill I turned and looked at it. I can hear this baby at my house over 2 miles away.

Whoa, this one's quite low, sounds more like a Sentry siren. Doesn't it supposed to sound the same pitch as 2001?

No, that is the high tone, 12-port model. The low tone model has 8-ports like a small Sentry or T-128.

Do they run that for calls also? Or just testing? Looks to be in good shape.

The FD uses it for fire/EMS calls (they do MANY cycles of attack for a real call). I love how the siren comes on just after the police car is gone, it is like the Fedelcode is putting the smaller one to shame.

I agree that it sounds like a Sentry siren. Anyone know what the DB rating is for this siren?

The siren museum suggests 108 DCB @ 100', but depends on RPM and vintage...
