I love Purdue's system. I suppose that might be a little biased, but it sounds the best out of any large university's that I've heard.

I can't figure out what those lower pitched single tone sirens are. Anyone have any ideas? They sound like T-128's.

Purdue/Lafayette only has Federal products. Sirens in the area around school include 2/3T22s, Thunderbolt 1000T's, STH-10's, 2001's, and the sometimes functioning RSH-10's.

That must mean those low pitched sirens are probably a sick STH-10, and a sick RSH-10. I love how that video sounds like it was shot right between the two 3T22's. Any idea why those 3T22's started late? I've also noticed that one of our 2T22's here in Louisville starts late.

Purdue's system is independent of the TippCo system. We can activate ours for things like Va. Tech situation, so we are last on the activation list because we have different tones.

Yes, as far as I know, Dearborn has a system of Whelen 2740's. I don't think I had ever heard them doing the Whoop signal until now though. The High/Low signal they use for snow emergencies sounds cool. It sounds weird to hear all those 2740's in High/Low, sounding at different pitches.
