Dane County EMA Outdoor Warning Siren Map, Model 7TT & 7

Fri Mar 07, 2008 11:05 pm

I was roaming the internet and i happened to remember a site that had a diverse mix of siren's, all of which are different. But when Josh asked me about the range on a 2t22 I went to go look it up. We stumbled across two sirens which all split off from the model 7T. Scroll down in the following map below and find Model 7TT and 7TTT. Can someone tell me and Josh what the difference between the two are. All information would be appreciated Thanks.

They say that the make of the Manual E is a Federal Type model 3 if you look very closely at the list. It has a vary small range of 810 Ft and was installed in Madison in 1946 at the Mendota Mental Health Institution.

The Manual E means it is set off manually, it's not on the county's system.

Thanks for the information Archon on the Manual E, But If someone would still tell me the difference in the 7TT and the 7TTT that would be helpful. I'm just plain confused on the difference that's all.

There is no difference, it is just the way it is typed on the web site.

yuh. Like "Federal 500 ... AT-240". Just indicates what type the siren is. How up to date is that map?

I just got done doing my own coverage map for Dane County (using their website's locations). They have a very diverse system!
And dosn't this belong in a different fourm?
