That's definately not a Whelen. Whelens sound nothing like that whether they're old, new, or even attack or wail. It's definitely a Federal of some kind, either a Modulator or a DSA.

well it depends on where they live, but Georgia mostly has 4004's/omni directional whelens, however there are modulators, so it may be a modulator as well, but it is DEFINATELY either a Modulator or Whelen

I'm thinking it's probably a Modulator using a custom tone. It's peak sounds way too high pitched for a Whelen, and it's lowest note is lower than usual.

very true, but, there is a video of Fort Worth Texas's 4004's, and they sound a lot like this, and, the wps2810's in the next town over wail EXACTLY like this as well, so who knows...

That video is taken in Crowley Texas, not Fort Worth. Whelen's don't sound like that.

I wish they had caught the beginning of their activation sequence. "This is a tornado warning! Seek shelter immediately!"
