The sirens heard in the Frisco/McKinney video are actually Frisco's new ATIs. They have Whelens but these aren't it. Here's a news story and video about the new system (which sounds like crap to me). The live voice on these sound like an overpowered walkie talkie.

I couldn't get the video to play. Is there any way you can post a direct link to it?

I assumed that those sirens were Whelens, because they wound down just like Whelens do during the final wind-down. The wail actually sounded a little different. That's the first time I've ever heard ATI's do a wail that wasn't a sample of some other siren. Nashville, TN really needs to consider setting all of their ATI's to that signal, so that they can be heard better.

In that news video, it sounds like the guy needs to back off the mic a little bit.
