Do you own a siren?

I own a siren and its a sd10! got it in wisconsin for free but it was hard to ship and this was the siren that cought on fire. and I have a federal signal type 2 (thats what it says in the plate) the housing is in real bad shape and I fixed the motor in it so it works. Whats your siren and the story behind it?

I own a Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 complete system, but it's not in my immediate possession. I'm still waiting on it's future delivery. I do not know any history about it, but I have been meaning to ask DjT about that.

I have a whole bunch of Thunderbolts, a 2T22, a SD-10, a Model 5, and a Model D. The T-Bolts, 2T22, SD-10, and 5 came from a friend of mine, who in turn got them from a city south of me when they replaced all of their sirens with Whelens, I believe. The Model L I got from eBay.

Only history I know about the 3 Phase Siren is it was once on a Fire Station in the town of Leigh in Lancashire. The Siren was taken down and stored in a Workshop in 1997, until being aquired by me in October 2005.
It is either WW2 or Cold War, no idea? lol
