That octave ratio is unique to Sentry and Sterling, which has had them since at least the late 1930's.ver tum wrote:Sentries are the only electro-mechanical sirens that I've ever heard that sound in a full octave interval. Today's current 10V2T is rated at 120dB at 100'. I say "today's" because they changed the output rating of some of their sirens recently, such as the 40V2T going from 128dB to 130dB. So this 10V2T may be a few dB quieter than todays offering.red04stanggt wrote:What is the decibel rating on these?
