Not sure if that is a 2001, the list of sirens i got from EM a couple of years ago did not say anything about any 2001s, Hays has 2t22s, Alletors, P-15s and 2 Sentry types.

Do you think that could be an old Sterling of some kind? It definitely doesn't sound like it's rotating. The other sirens heard are definitely Allertors.

Are sterlings that high pitched? Maybe it is...there are some "sentry type" sirens in Hays.

Well, if it is a "Sentry Type Siren"... it would have to have a 16 port rotor.... but yes it could very well be that or a Sterling.... although the pitch leads me to an STH-10/2001 type siren. Good sound on the Allertors though!!

Some of the older Sterlings sound at about that pitch, so I'm thinking that that's probably what it is. If it isn't, it's probably a 2001 with a broken rotator. The pitch is too high for an STH-10 or a Model 5.

The list of sirens i have dosn't mention anything about STH-10, Model 5 or 2001. I think it might be a new 2001, becasue the list I have only has that allertor covering downtown.

Might be a Sentry with dual 16 port rotors, they can be special ordered that way.
