I know that at Henry SD they have a old allertor that got replaced by a 130 so I'm gonna ask them if they want to sell it.

Sadly I could not get the howler because the fire chief said that the siren has been there since the town was built and he found out about how rare it was so it disappointing but I know that I can find some other sirens.

Hi everyone.

I'm a completely new member to this site and air sirens, I know very little about them.

I work as a local retained firefighter in Scotland and we have an air raid siren stored away in a cupboard which was previously mounted on the roof to alert the men to attend the station for an incident.

The current crew are now looking to discover any information regarding the siren and if any value to it. Potentially to sell and donate funds to firefighters charity.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

Any chance you can get a close-up shot of the tag on top? That will go a long way towards identification.

That appears to be a Gents of Leicester judging by how the tag is laid out. I would presume WWII vintage?.

That appears to be a Model B with a modified shroud. Nice find.
