Great video, Gil!

There must be some quick-building residue on the electrical rings if this is the result after the fourth of July.

Heh, that's hilarious! But still needs shecked out. You'll need to find out who's in charge of the sirens and let them know. Great vid!

I believe the Fire Cheif is in charge of the sirens.

That thing is so creepy. the windup is the scariest part.

I have a video of either an 8 port or 8-12 port allertor on Emil St. in Madison, WI, it seems to wind up a lot faster, not as creepy though. Anyone know about the port ratio on this siren, I'm not sure which one it is.

No. this is new. I have seen this happen a few years back (2003 i think).

Then they took it down and mysteriously put it back up 2 months later... :?
It looked like it had a new paint job when they pute it back up. maybe
they got a replacement or soemthing? or just did some maintenance on
it.

"...and appeared to have some rotator problems."

Great understatement.

If I was in charge of it, it would make me want to pound it a few times with a long pole when it hangs like that!
