Here you go guys, in this is the recording of these three sirens:

Yes this one is going off too,but it's very faint.

These are my favorite kinds of siren recordings: night-time with minimal ambient noise, different kinds going off and---thanks to your pics--models that really aren't all too common.
The author of this and another similar clip says that one can hear a Sterling 5 HP (the vertical model aforementioned?) and an STL-10 from the neighboring communities. I could hear neither of this, either in this clip or the other.
The good news is, though, that that nasty-@$$ Modulator didn't sound on this one.
I wish there were software available that could isolate/eliminate ambient or unwanted background noise completely. Maybe if those cars weren't milling about, I could hear them.

I sort of disagree with the above poster... I like the sound of the Modulator heard in the other clip.. but I digress. I always assumed that the Federal Fire Siren had 16 ports and had a 1,800 rpm motor which would make it sound like a typcial 8 port siren... but there is something in that recording is 16 ports running a standard 3,400 motor and I can only believe it is the Fire Siren... you can clearly hear the Darley 2V8 (second siren in the pictures) in this with a clear 8 port rotor.... you can't hear the other siren (with the wierd housing) but it would sound almost identical to the low toned siren in this clip... they both have 8 port rotors on them. Hey Ty, did you ever figure out what the siren at the Country Club was? It might be worth a run out there sometime to just nose around. This coming weekend they are having the Fayette County Fire Convention in South Brownsville... I am planning on doing some siren phtographing and try to knock some of the county out. I will post them on the board when I am finished.
